Shipping Note: For stretched & back stapled, but unframed works the buyer does have the option to request the canvas be detached from the stretcher bars & have the stretcher bars disassembled for shipment via tube. This method of shipment is most economical - however the buyer bears the responsibility for reassembly, and stretching of the canvas once received. It reduces the cost of shipping by about 2/3; if a large flat mounted work is shipped in a cardboard container it can cost several hundred dollars, but shipping in a tube usually cost less than $50. However whatever saving there might be must be offset by the cost of reassembly, which could be more in some cases.
