The Alaska Series: I feel like everyone in America wants to head North to Alaska at least once in their lives. I had my own preconceptions about what Alaska was about, which changed very quickly once I was there. I felt like I was home, like it was easier some how to feel the heartbeat of the universe and nature there. Some Alaskans told me they felt closer to God. In the Alaska Series I explore my response to the people, landscapes and mythology of the place.-Jake
