Dark Night: acrylic painting on 24" x 18" stretched canvas, which has been painted to the edges that it may be hung without a frame. The predominant colors are pink, red, white and black, with some gray, blue, brown and orange.

"I know that many riders think of their bikes as a mount in the horse-y sense. Most tend to think ala cowboy I think, but some must hark to a more martial spirit. I wanted my knight to be dark, so I had to find some way to render him visible and I chose the lightening to provide him with contrast as well as add to the intensity."-Jake
