Binary Birds, by Jake Beckman - art that proudly projects you are member of the Social Media Tribe. Why would you buy zero?  Zero is an interesting number-it represents nothing; it divides positive and negative numbers.  As for its use on the phone, in many instances its the number that takes you to the real live human being in a surfer menu.  In your life, who is the go to guy or gal in the surfer menu of life?  Who is your zero key?

zero is an original acrylic 6 inch x 8 inch painting on archival canvas board. The painting is framed with a 11x14 inch white mat and a black corporate frame.  zero, by Jake Beckman, is a separable piece of a large whole representative of a cell phone key pad. An outline of a canary, representing the  null-set flies wings outspread before the number zero. The zero is worked over with gold interference paint giving it a little bling. The predominant colors are shades of bright yellow, orange, gold and black.  In keeping with the Binary Birds social media theme the painting features ASCII Binary which represents "zero" and "0".The Work is signed by the Artist "Jake" in the lower right hand corner. On the back of the work the title and date of creation are noted in paint; the FAR Tag No. 17504 is placed in the region behind the signature on the back of the canvas. The swap image is the entire series work displayed next to a chair with this painting highlighted. The work is federally copyrighted. All reproduction and publishing copyrights are retained by the artist.
