gallery wrapped stretched canvas prints, and luster finish un-mounted prints
in large sizes. We will no longer mention who we are engaging to produce
large edition prints, since this information may change-it as twice in the
last 4 years... We are discontinuing our non-exclusive arrange to produce
prints locally with MemoriesOnCanvas.com. We had no issue with them,
we have just found another vendor.
October 18, 2009 AKAJakePrints.com enters into an arrangement to produce prints locally via MemoriesOnCanvas.com. Effective immediately we are discontinuing the non-exclusive licensing arrangement with FinerWorks.com. If you have ordered a print through FinerWorks.com and it is in process the print will be processed normally. This move is to ensure that we have the ability to review the quality of the work produced before the prints are shipped. AKAJakePrints.com will be responsible for fulfilling the orders printed by MemoriesOnCanvas.com for the moment.
June 1 ,2008 AKAJakePrints.com enters into non-exclusive licensing agreement with FinerWorks.com In our continuing efforts to work on our business model, it has been decided that FinerWorks.com probably would do a better job marketing the large edition prints than we will, also there are certain cost savings to the customer which go along with the convenience of using FinerWorks. When the customer orders direct from FinerWorks.com directly they will fall under FinerWorks.com policies. Customers will still have the option of purchasing directly through AKAJakePrints.com if they want enhancements such as the artist's signature, FAR registration, and customized over-painted features added to the print to make it unique. Such enhancements will cost a bit extra as AKAJakePrints.com will incur double shipping costs among other things.
